Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is one of Pakistan’s most talented musicians and recently contacted Monster Outdoor to deliver an outdoor advertising campaign to help increase awareness of his brand and promote his up and coming international tour.

The Brief

Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khans representatives were looking for a way to target relevant audiences within the North West of the UK.

The Proposal

Taking into account budget constraints and the desire to reach a highly sought after demographic, our planners came up with the great idea to piggy back on the year’s largest international cricketing events.

We secured Manchester’s largest digital billboard located along a main arterial route leading to Lancashire county cricket club which was hosting the 2019 ICC world cup match between India & Pakistan. This allowed us to not only reach the local residents and event attended but it also provided valuable media exposure.

The Outcome

The campaign received some great attention as cricket fans made their way to the match with some posing for selfies in front of the billboard. The match was viewed by over a billion people with over 25k people making it to the cricket ground.
