The brief
A New York agency.
A London billboard.
Tuesday 6 October 2026, 11:36. An email from a New York media buying agency about out of home in London for Corteiz x Nike.
The first brief was digital. At 15:07 the same afternoon, three hours and thirty one minutes after the first email, the agency had three routes from us: a digital screen, roadside sites and a digital mall network.
Then the brief changed. The agency moved from digital to static print, on one site for the whole run, and we recommended one site: the 96-sheet billboard on Shepherd's Bush Roundabout. It was booked on Monday 12 October, for two weeks from Monday 26 October.
One board, one site, the whole run. A printed poster is the only advert on its board for every day of the campaign.

A 96-sheet billboard on Shepherd's Bush Roundabout.
A 96-sheet is 40 ft wide and 10 ft high, about 12.2 m by 3 m. It is the largest standard paper billboard in the UK, twice the width of a 48-sheet (96-sheet vs 48-sheet).
This one stands above the railings and a row of hire bikes on the roundabout, and in the photographs buses, a black cab, a cyclist and people on foot all pass right in front of it. More sites like it: billboard advertising in London.

Daylight into dusk.
On Wednesday 4 November we offered the agency professional photography of the board. Tim Ireland shot it the next afternoon, Thursday 5 November, from 15:55 to 17:57: 21 photographs, from grey daylight through blue hour to red tail lights after dark.
Every photograph of the board on this page is his. A 96-sheet is built to be seen from the road, so that is where he stood.

Questions
96-sheet billboard questions.
How big is a 96-sheet billboard?
+
A 96-sheet billboard is 40 ft wide by 10 ft high, about 12.2 m by 3 m. It is the largest standard paper billboard in the UK and twice the width of a 48-sheet, which is 20 ft by 10 ft (about 6 m by 3 m). The Corteiz x Nike board at Shepherd's Bush Roundabout is a 96-sheet.
How far ahead do you need to book a billboard in London?
+
A printed billboard usually goes live 2 to 3 weeks after you confirm the booking, and the usual artwork deadline is two weeks before the start. This one was booked on Monday 12 October 2026 for a start on Monday 26 October. The artwork arrived on Wednesday 21 October, five days before the start, and the board still went up in the posting window with the end date unchanged. Digital screens can be quicker, sometimes a few days.
Should I choose a static or a digital billboard?
+
A static poster is the only advert on its board for the whole campaign, which gives you 100% share of voice. A digital screen rotates between several advertisers, typically about 10 seconds each, but the creative is easy to change. This brief started as digital, and the agency chose static print on one site for the whole run.
Can a US or overseas agency book UK billboards with you?
+
Yes. This campaign was booked by a New York media buying agency. Their first email arrived at 11:36 UK time and three options went back the same afternoon at 15:07. We booked the site, handled the print and the posting in London, and arranged the photography.
How much does a 96-sheet billboard cost in London?
+
It depends on the site, the area and how many 2-week cycles you book. Our billboard cost calculator gives a 96-sheet price for London and for outside London, plus print. Some networks have a minimum order of £1,000 + VAT, and some premium networks have higher minimums.
How long does a 96-sheet billboard campaign run?
+
Billboards are sold in 2-week cycles, and campaigns can run from 2 weeks to 12 months or longer. The Corteiz x Nike board was booked for one cycle: Monday 26 October to Sunday 8 November 2026.
Do you print and put up the poster, and do I get proof?
+
Yes. We give you the template and specification for your format, check the artwork and manage the print production, then the poster is posted on site and you get photo proof of posting. On this campaign we also arranged professional photography of the board, by photographer Tim Ireland.
